Found something on the XRF you've never seen before?
Send us the readout and a photo. We'll tell you what it is, whether we buy it and what it's worth.
Difficult materials
We actively evaluate contaminated, mixed, off-grade and unusual materials that conventional scrap buyers may reject.
Fair terms
Offers are based on recoverable metal content, processing economics and agreed sampling and assay procedures.
Real settlement
For complex lots, we can work with independent inspection, sampling and laboratory analysis where required.
Global markets
Our international processor network gives us multiple outlets for materials that may have little or no local market.

FAQs
Industrial residue recycling: what plants and traders ask before selling
What industrial residues do you buy?
We buy metal-bearing sludges, filter cakes, sweeps, dusts, fines, slags and mixed metal residues. They’re valuable when they contain recoverable metals such as tungsten, molybdenum, cobalt, nickel, tin, germanium, gallium, indium or precious metals. Material that has been stored for years is often still worth assessing.
Our residue is classed as waste. Can it still have value?
Often, yes. Many residues go to landfill or paid disposal simply because nobody has checked what’s in them. If the metal content is high enough to recover, the material can be sold instead of paid to dispose of. Send us an analysis and we’ll tell you which applies.
How are industrial residues priced?
Pricing is based on the payable metal content from a lab assay, minus the cost of handling moisture, contamination and the processing route, plus the market price of the contained metals. Residues vary a lot within a single lot, so we agree on a sampling method before the final assay and offer.
Do you accept wet, mixed or hazardous residues?
Many residues are wet, mixed or classed as hazardous for transport, and that alone doesn’t rule them out. Tell us the moisture content, any known contaminants, the waste classification and how the material is packed. We’ll advise on packaging, documents and transport before anything ships.
Why sell industrial residues to Oryx Metals?
Residues are the materials most buyers don’t understand, and that’s where Oryx Metals has focused for over 20 years. Some by-products can only be processed by one or two plants in the world, often in places few sellers would ever find. We know those processors, which is how we can make a written offer on residues others reject, with sampling, logistics and customs handled.
What do you need to give us an offer?
A description of the process the residue comes from, a recent analysis if you have one, the moisture content, the approximate quantity, how it’s packed and where it’s stored. Send it through our pricing form or message us on WhatsApp or WeChat. A metals specialist replies within 24 hours with an indicative price or the questions we need answered.
